Local coordination, licensed specialists
The Mold Busters was started to fix a specific complaint we kept hearing from homeowners: one company tests, a different company remediates, and a third one rebuilds — and nobody talks to each other in between.
How we're set up differently
We keep testing, remediation, and reconstruction under one job file, even though different phases may be handled by different licensed specialists in our network. You're not handed off to a call center between phases — the reconstruction estimate is built from the original inspection and removal notes, not a fresh walkthrough by a stranger.
Lab testing is still independent. We don't run our own lab and don't have an incentive to read a sample more aggressively than it deserves — samples go to a third-party accredited lab, same as if you'd hired a separate inspector.
Licensing
Every contractor coordinated through The Mold Busters holds current North Carolina mold assessment and/or remediation licensing, as required by state law, along with active liability insurance. We only work with contractors who meet those requirements — no exceptions. License and certification details for the specific contractor assigned to your inspection are available on request.
